Super Bowl XLVII

One of the best days of the year, Super Bowl Sunday. The Super Bowl in the Superdome, doesn't get much better than that. Why tomorrow isn't a national holiday is beyond me, but today's game should be a good one. We have two very good defenses, two offenses capable of explosive plays at any time and two Harbaugh's on the sidelines.

So, who's going to win the greatest event in all of sports? Here's my pick.

Super Bowl XLVII Pick

49ers over Ravens: I honestly can see either team winning this game, but the 49ers will win this game in my opinion. San Francisco has the most talented roster, top to bottom, in all of football. They have an excellent defense with the best group of linebackers the entire league. They have a very solid offensive line that can both run block and pass protect. And they have QB Colin Kaepernick, who can beat you with his arm and his legs. 

Baltimore beat Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady to get to New Orleans, which is quite an accomplishment. However, the 49ers pistol offense and read option will be something the Ravens have not faced yet this postseason. They are a very talented group, but not the fastest group. I look for the speed of the 49ers' offense to get the better of Ray Lewis and the Ravens offense. 49ers 27, Ravens 20. 

It's been a great NFL season and I'll be sad to see it come to an end, but Opening Day is less than two months away.
