NFL: Week 6 Review

Nothing to complain about with the Bengals this week, but it was nice to watch football without getting all worked up about the Bengals. After watching teams like Baltimore, New England, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Dallas and Minnesota this past weekend, the Bengals have a lot of work to do. The Bengals aren't even close to being on the same level with those kind of teams. I don't know, maybe the bye week gave them a chance to turn things around and we will soon find out Sunday in Atlanta.

Now for the "Holy Crap" and "C'mon Man" performances for Week 6.

"Holy Crap"
PHI-QB Kevin Kolb: 23-29, 326 yds, 3 TD, QB Rating 133.6. Let the discussion begin for who should be the Eagles QB, as Michael Vick might be back next week. It's a nice problem to have though.

PHI-WR Jeremy Maclin: 7 rec, 159 yds, 2 TD

New Orleans Saints offense: The Saints finally get it together on offense by scoring 31 points, as Drew Brees throws for 263 yds and 3 TD and RB Chris Ivory ran for 158 yds.

Houston QB Matt Schaub and WR Andre Johnson:  Schaub: 25-33, 305 yds, 2 TD, QB Rating 123.9; Johnson: 8 rec, 138 yds, TD.

Kansas City QB Matt Cassel and WR Dwayne Bowe: Cassel: 20-29, 201 yds, 3 TD, QB Rating 122.9; Bowe: 6 rec, 108 yds, 2 TD.

IND-QB Peyton Manning: 25-38, 307 yds, 2 TD, QB Rating 108.1

IND-RB Joseph Addai: 17 car, 128 yds, 7.5 yds/car, TD

"C'mon Man"
San Diego Chargers: The Chargers fall to 2-4, after losing on the road to St. Louis, and with all that talent, it is a real shame. I will be shocked if head coach Norv Turner is back next season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Bucs came into Week 6 at 3-1 and everyone was wondering if they were for real or not. A 31-6 lose to New Orleans will end the speculation.

OAK-QB Jason Campbell: 8-21, 83 yds, 0 TD, 2 INT, QB Rating 10.7. Another less than steller performance from a Oakland quarterback.

Dallas Cowboys: A loss to the Minnesota Vikings drops the Cowboys to 1-4 and gives them a very slim chance of making the playoffs. They can just about kiss good-bye any chance of playing at home in the Super Bowl. And head coach Wade Phillips' coaching seat is more than hot, it's on fire.

A lot of very intriguing matchups in Week 7, my picks along with what the Bengals need to do to win in Atlanta, later in the week.
