NFL: Week 12

Now that your stomach has had time to digest all that turkey and pumpkin pie from Thanksgiving, there are 13 more NFL games that appear on the schedule this weekend, so here are the rest of my Week 12 picks. A look a what to expect from the Bengals in a critical game with the Browns in the Battle of Ohio, is also included.

Week 12 Picks (Home team in CAPS)

ATLANTA over Minnesota: Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is probably out with an ankle injury and without him Minnesota has very little chance of beating the Falcons.

NY JETS over Buffalo: Neither team is playing well, but the Jets already beat Buffalo once this season, and I think they do it again.

TENNESSEE over Tampa Bay: Tennessee is still in the playoff race and a win over Tampa Bay will help their chances.

Carolina over INDIANAPOLIS: The Colts may not win a game all season and I don't see them beating Cam Newton and the Panthers.

ST. LOUIS over Arizona: With Arizona QB Kevin Kolb still possibly out with an injury, I like Sam Bradford and the Rams to get their third win of the season.

Houston over JACKSONVILLE: Even with Matt Schaub lost for the season, and Matt Leinart taking over at quarterback, I still like the Texans to win on Sunday and I think they still win the AFC South. It will also help having WR Andre Johnson back in the starting lineup for the Texans.

OAKLAND over Chicago: Going be hard for the Bears to win without Jay Cutler.

SEATTLE over Washington: Seattle is a tough place to play and the Redskins aren't playing very well right now, regardless of where the game is being played.

SAN DIEGO over Denver: Tim Tebow's winning streak comes to an end and so does San Diego's losing streak.

New England over PHILADELPHIA: Michael Vick will not play in this one with cracked ribs, but the Eagles won without him last week in New York. New England may have some concerns with their defense, but they played very well Monday night against Kansas City. It could be a high scoring game and that favors Tom Brady and the Patriots.

Pittsburgh over KANSAS CITY: QB Kyle Orton was claimed off waivers from Denver by Kansas City this week and he will start this week in place of the injured Matt Cassel. Either way, the Steelers will win.

NEW ORLEANS over NY Giants: The Giants are in the middle of a brutal stretch of games on the schedule and this week they get Drew Brees and the Saints on the road. I was not impressed with the Giants Sunday night against Philadelphia, and with the Saints coming off a bye week, I think they win at home.

BENGALS over Cleveland: Pretty simple, this is a must win game for the Bengals. They need a win here with the Ravens winning already on Thanksgiving and the Steelers having an easy game in Kansas City. WR A.J. Green should be back after missing last week and hopefully the defense can limit the big plays, something that hurt them against Baltimore. If the Bengals play like they are capable of playing, they will win this game, improve to 7-4 and keep their playoff hopes alive.

This Week: 3-0
Overall: 106-57
