NFL 2013: Week 10 Predictions

The Bengals performance last week was a lot my picks, they were both terrible. Another heart breaking, albeit, not surprising loss by Bengals on a safety and I went a dreadful 6-7 in picks. Things will turn around this week for both my picks and for the Bengals as they take on the Ravens. My predictions for Week 10 are below.

Week 10 Picks (Home team in CAPS)

Washington over MINNESOTA: I though RGIII and the Redskins had the game won with nine minutes to go in the third quarter and a 27-14 lead, but I was wrong. No lead is safe in the NFL, as the Vikings came back to score 20 unanswered points to get only their second win of the season. Good news for the Redskins, even at 3-6, they're still out of it in the "competitive" NFC East.

Seattle over ATLANTA: Although the Seahawks haven't been dominating the opposition, they still have one of the best teams in the league. The Falcons have done a complete 180 are have almost solidified themselves of a top 10 pick in May's NFL Draft. With that being said, I'll take Seattle.

Detroit over CHICAGO: Jay Cutler is back and that's good news for the Bears. Chicago already lost to Detroit back in Week 4 and they need Cutler if they are going to win the rematch. This one will be close, but I don't think the Bears have an answer for Calvin Johnson or Reggie Bush.

Philadelphia over GREEN BAY: If Aaron Rodgers was playing, I wouldn't even think twice about this one. However, Rodgers will be on the sidelines Sunday and with Nick Foles come off an NFL record tying seven touchdown passes; I like the Eagles to pull off the upset.

TENNESSEE over Jacksonville: Jaguars will give the Titans a game, but it won't be enough as Jacksonville remains winless.

INDIANAPOLIS over St. Louis: The Rams will give the Colts a game, but Andrew Luck is just too good. Indianapolis improves to 7-2.

NY GIANTS over Oakland: I doubt that Eli Manning will have the same kind of success that Nick Foles had against the Raiders last week, but I do think the Giants will get their third win of the year at home.

SAN FRANCISCO over Carolina: This should be a very physical game filled with big hits and lots of defense. I'm still not sold on Carolina just yet and San Francisco has the better team.

Houston over ARIZONA: Houston is 2-6, their head coach collapsed at halftime during last week's game and they've lost six in a row. Things couldn't get much worse, but I was impressed with QB Case Keenum against the Colts. If he can get the ball to Andre Johnson like he did last week -- nine receptions for 229 yards and three touchdowns -- then the Texans have a chance.

Denver over SAN DIEGO: Let's see, Peyton Manning is coming off a bye while San Diego is coming off a 30-24 overtime loss to Washington. Hmm...I guess I'll take the Broncos.

NEW ORLEANS over Dallas: The last two times Dallas faced a high powered offense, they gave up 51 points to Denver and 31 points to Detroit. If the pattern continues, then New Orleans will probably score somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 points.

Miami over TAMPA BAY: Buccaneers' head coach, Greg Schiano, is going to get fired here soon and a ninth straight loss on Monday night won't help his case for sticking around much longer.

Bengals over RAVENS: The Ravens are a completing different team this season compared to the one that won the Super Bowl last year. They are vulnerable on defense and Joe Flacco has not looked the same. If the Bengals can cut down on dumb penalties and Andy Dalton makes smart decisions, then there is no reason why Cincinnati won't win this football game. A win for the Bengals basically knocks the Ravens out of the AFC North race and I think it will be a, "Great day to be a Bengals fan." Bengals 24, Ravens 14.

Bye: Cleveland, Kansas City, New England, NY Jets

This Week: 0-1
Last Week: 6-7
Overall: 87-46
