NFL 2013: Week 11 Predictions

Joy to heart ache. Another Bengals game with a roller coaster of emotions. Frustration and anger for the first three quarters to joy and jubilation when A.J. caught one of the most miraculous Hail Mary's in the history of the NFL. And then again to frustration as Justin Tucker's kick stayed inside the right upright for a Ravens win and yet another gut wrenching Bengals loss.

It was a tough loss, but if you were at all surprised by the final outcome, then you can't call yourself a Bengals fan.

Predictions for what the Bengals will do against the Browns this week and for the rest of the games in Week 11 are below.

Week 11 Picks (Home team in CAPS)

Indianapolis over TENNESSEE: After losing QB Jake Locker for the season and being the first team to lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars this season, things aren't looking good in Tennessee.

NY Jets over BUFFALO: Despite all of the ups and downs for the Jets in 2013, they would be in the playoffs if the season ended today. Hard to believe, but it's true. New York beat Buffalo earlier this year, 27-20 and I think history will repeat itself on Sunday.

CHICAGO over Baltimore: Even though the Ravens were able to hold off the Bengals in overtime last week, I was anything but impressed with their performance. Cincinnati handed them that game on a silver platter. Even with the Bears starting Josh McCown at quarterback instead of an injured Jay Culter, I like Chicago.

PHILADELPHIA over Washington: In his last two starts, Eagles QB Nick Foles has completed 73.9% of his passes, while throwing for 634 yards and 10 touchdowns -- and head coach Chip Kelly still won't name the full-time starter since Michael Vick is still hurt!? "C'mon Man!" Foles has thrived in Kelly's high octane offense this season and if Foles stays at quarterback -- and healthy for that matter -- then the Eagles may just find themselves in the playoffs.

Detroit over PITTSBURGH: Having beaten the Bears twice and with Aaron Rodgers on the sidelines for the Packers, the Lions are in the driver seat for the NFC North division title.

TAMPA BAY over Atlanta: The Buccaneers may have just won their first game of the season, but the Falcons are bad football team. Atlanta has scored only 33 points the last three games due in large part to injuries to Julio Jones, Roddy White and Steven Jackson. Tampa Bay has a decent defense and with them being at home, I like their chances to win their second game of the season.

Arizona over JACKSONVILLE: Will Jacksonville make it two in a row? I doubt it, but they will give Arizona a game though.

HOUSTON over Oakland: The Raiders performance the last two week has been abysmal and I think the Texans will end their seven game losing streak with a win at home on Sunday.

San Diego over MIAMI: Miami is a mess with all the Jonathan Martin/Richie Incognito drama going on, plus they rushed for a solid two yards Monday night against a winless Tampa Bay team. With that being said, I'll take San Diego.

NEW ORLEANS over San Francisco: The 49ers may be 6-3, but they have some problems on the offensive side of the ball. San Francisco is fourth in the league in rushing, but they are dead last in passing with just 173.9 yards per game. QB Colin Kaepernick has make some throws if the 49ers are to make another run at the Super Bowl, but that won't be easy against a Saints defense that is third in the league in pass defense. Drew Brees and the Saints have no problems throwing the ball and I think they'll win at home.

NY GIANTS over Green Bay: If Aaron Rodgers was playing this would be a no doubter, but the Packers just aren't the same team without their star quarterback. It will be close, but Eli and the Giants prevail to stay alive in the NFC East race.

SEATTLE over Minnesota: Seattle is undefeated at home this season and I would be shocked if that didn't finish a perfect 8-0 at CenturyLink Field. Seahawks by at least a touchdown as Percy Harvin returns conventionally against his old team, the Vikings.

DENVER over Kansas City: The Broncos and Chiefs are a combined 17-1 this season, but they are a combined 0-1 against teams with a winning record. The only team with a winning record either has played this season was when Denver traveled to Indianapolis and lost to the Colts. So, does that mean that both of these teams are overrated? Absolutely not. The Kansas City defense is one of the best in the league, but there are a lot of questions surrounding their offense. The Chiefs will hold Peyton Manning to less than 30 points, maybe even 20, but will they score enough points to win is the real question. Ultimately, I don't think they will. Broncos by a field goal.

New England over CAROLINA: I was skeptical of the Panthers up until this point in the season, but after beating the 49ers in San Francisco and dominating the game, Carolina is legit. However, whether they can sustain this momentum and success the rest of the way is a different story. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick had two weeks to prepare for the Panthers and that will be the difference Monday night.

BENGALS over Browns: Which Andy Dalton will show up on Sunday? The one who has thrown six interceptions the last two weeks or the one who threw 11 touchdowns over a three game span? If the Andy Dalton who played against the Jets, Bills and Lions shows up then the Bengals will beat the Browns relatively easily. However, if the Andy Dalton who played against the Browns back in Week 4, then the Bengals are in real trouble. Cincinnati still controls its own destiny in the division and a win against Cleveland heading into a much needed bye week would sure be nice. Bengals 24, Browns 13.

Bye: Dallas, St. Louis

This Week: 1-0
Last Week: 6-8
Overall: 94-54
