Week 16 Thursday Night Pick

Two weeks remain and a lot still has to be decided in the playoff race. I will go into further detail on all the playoff scenarios later this week, but no need discussing them here as Jacksonville and Tennessee will watching the playoffs from home.

A brutal game is on the schedule and won't exactly be a ratings booster for the NFL this Thursday night. My pick for Titans-Jaguars is below.

JAGUARS over Titans (Thursday, 8:25 p.m. ET, NFLN): The Jaguars take on the division rival Titans this Thursday with both teams a combined 4-24 and looking forward to their dreadful seasons being over. Tennessee beat Jacksonville 16-14, back on October 12th, but that was the last time the Titans won a game. They have lost eight in a row, losing those games by an average of 13.8 points/game. Jacksonville has been more competitive as of late and I like what head coach Gus Bradley has done with that defense. If quarterback Blake Bortles can figure it out, the Jaguars might be much better next season. As for this week, I think Jacksonville will get the win in front a half full stadium and very few viewers on television.

Last Week: 14-2
Overall: 160-63-1
